Karoshi-con, April 17

We're starting a new anime convention in DeKalb, Illinois, called Karoshi-con. It'll be Saturday, April 17th, 2010, from 10 am to 10 pm at the Holmes Student Center on the campus of Northern Illinois University. We're going to have anime rooms, panels, video gaming, dealers and artists. We're still working out some of the details but it'll be straightforward. It's only for one day so we don't have a hotel, although we can provide a list of the ones in town if you need it. Costumes are obviously encouraged. Most importantly, come and have fun!

Admission is free so there's no preregistration. Artist/vendor information should be up soon. We're making headway with the University on cosplay props (the concept of costumes baffles them, apparently they haven't heard of Halloween).
